Teaching God’s Children in a Faith-Based Learning Environment
Lake Wylie Lutheran Preschool believes in the well-being of children. We believe that the early years of childhood are vitally important in the development of a child’s growth. We believe that children develop and learn at different rates and we encourage exploration and creativity within the boundaries that must exist in order to provide safety and security in a child development center.
Our curriculum philosophy is that children learn through play, which enables them to view learning as a “fun” experience. Problem solving, sensory experiences, and imitative play are hands-on ways that are most effective in teaching preschoolers.
Our 3 year old, 4 year old, and Transitional Kindergarten programs utilize “Learning Without Tears” curriculum which prepares them for Kindergarten.
